The 5th annual "Race to Wrigley" 5K Run will be held on Saturday, April 24. The 5K Run, which starts and finishes at legendary Wrigley Field, will help kick off the 2010 baseball season while benefiting a good cause.
Race to Wrigley -- which will benefit Chicago Cubs Charities -- begins at 8:00 a.m. Start location at Waveland & Clark.
The course route proceeds through the streets of the Lake View neighborhood before returning to the stadium -- where runners will run through Wrigley Field's ground level concourse, finishing under the famed Wrigley Field Marquee (located at Clark and Addison).
Chicago Cubs Charities supports community groups and organizations, programs and projects in the neighborhoods around Wrigley Field and throughout Chicagoland

Pre-Register by Mail:
Send your check and money order made payable to SEM and the completed registration form (coming soon) to Special Events Management, 2221 W. 43rd Street, Chicago, IL 60609. Pre-registrants will be able to pick up their packets race day at the race day registration location. A separate line will be available for pre-registrants. If you would like to have your shirt and bib number mailed to you, you can for an additional $5. To get this option you must register by March 31st, 2010.

Pre-Register By Fax:
Fax entries must be accompanied by a valid credit card number, and must be faxed by noon on Wednesday, April 21, 2010 to 773-523-6760. A $2 service fee will be added. All credit card charges appear as Chicago Special Events.

Race day fee is $37
Race day registration will be open from 6:30am to 7:50am in the Purple Lot at Wrigley Field (Clark & Waveland) IF THE EVENT IS NOT SOLD OUT. Please arrive early to ensure accurate and timely entry into the race.
There will NO CHIP TIMED RUN REGISTRATION on race day. Race day registration if for the FUN RUN ONLY!
Pre-registered participants can also pick-up their race packet/race number/t-shirt on race day.

We encourage all participants to wear their official Race to Wrigley T-shirt! All participants receive a performance moisture management running shirt.

There will be a limited amount of FREE event parking in the Green Lot (on Waveland just east of Clark) of Wrigley Field. Limited metered parking may be available within the area but be aware of no parking and 'zone parking' signs.
