One of the city's largest and most popular summer celebrations, this trailblazing fest will be celebrating its 31st in 2014.

Truly iconic, the fest sprawls over six city blocks in the heart of Lincoln Park. It's where high incomes meet the vibrant DePaul University population. The neighborhood is home to Chicagos original club scene and today is renowned for its acclaimed theaters, music venues and top restaurants.

Taste of Lincoln Avenue began as a small neighborhood fundraiser. Over the years it has grown to become the second largest summer street festival in the region. It features more than 250 vendors and more than 40 music acts on three stages. Every music genre is represented: from blues and country to rock, folk and electronic dance music (EDM).

There are also dozens of artists, and the wildly popular one-block "Kids' Carnival" area with entertainment, art activities, pony rides, a petting zoo and much more.

Beneficiary - Wrightwood Neighbors Association
The Wrightwood Neighbors Association (WNA) is constantly involved in many issues that directly impact life in the community. WNA works with aldermen and City agencies to help provide residents with the services possible, and to make sure that Wrightwood remains a nice place to work, live and play.
