The costume parade has become the city's most renowned Halloween event drawing thousands of spectators. It's a creative, fun and entertaining event for the entire community that raises funds for our community garden park. And a Sunday parade means a huge crowd so we've extended the parade route north to Grace (versus stopping at Addison). We're excited to announce Miss Foozie has agreed to emcee the parade. As in past years, we expect to see costumes from garish to ghoulish-worn by adults, kids and pets. The costume contest has been a huge success and we anticipate imaginations to run wild again this year! The theme of the 2010 Parade is "Little Street of Horrors".

Join us at the parade's finish, at the Fabulous Parking Lot (3514 N. Halsted, just south of Addison) for awards, fun and live entertainment, beginning at approximately 7:00 p.m.!

Registration - Costume Contest
|
Participation in the parade is FREE! Dress in your best costume, and join us at Spin (Belmont & Halsted)! Enter your ghoulish get-up or freaky fashion into our costume contest. Prizes will be awarded to several categories (including Adult, Couple and Group) for adults, plus a category for best children's and best pet's costumes.

Ride the Red or Brown Line CTA "L" to Belmont, exit and head east 2 blocks to Halsted. You can also ride the Red Line "L" to Addison, exit and head east to Halsted (approximately 3 blocks), then head south on Halsted.
