For the 16th year, a group of creative souls will bare their alter egos, dark sides, or their shadows, to the world on Halloween, parading them down one of Chicago's hottest entertainment districts: North Halsted Street. This year's parade theme is "The Apocalypse Is Coming."
In addition, the parade has a new start location in 2012: Halsted and Waveland. It will then proceed south to Halsted and Belmont where all the post-parade activities will take place.
The parade has gained a well-deserved reputation in the Midwest. This fiercely competitive show of creative, imaginative costumes is at once thought-provoking, funny, stimulating, compelling, colorful and always larger than life. In addition, a distinguished panel judges will pick costume contest category winners for several great prizes.

Participation in the parade is FREE! Dress in your best costume, and join us at Circuit (3641 North Halsted Street near Waveland)! Enter your ghoulish get-up or freaky fashion into our costume contest. Prizes will be awarded in the following categories: Best Pet Costume, Best Drag Costume, Scariest Adult Costume, Most Original Adult Costume, Best Group or Couple and Audience Choice.

Join us at the parade's finish, at Halsted at Belmont in the CTA Turnaround for awards, fun and live entertainment, beginning at approximately 8:00 p.m.!

Registration - Costume Contest

Registration for Adults and Groups will be held from 4:00pm-6:00pm inside Circuit Nightclub (3641 North Halsted St.) located on Halsted just north of Addison.

Ride the Red or Brown Line CTA "L" to Belmont, exit and head east 2 blocks to Halsted. You can also ride the Red Line "L" to Addison, exit and head east to Halsted (approximately 3 blocks), then head south on Halsted.
