Eclectic! Exciting! Non-stop! And a people-watching extravaganza are just a few of the ways to characterize the 28th annual Northalsted Market Days® on Saturday and Sunday, August 1-2. It's the largest two-day street fair in the Midwest and it just keeps getting bigger and better each year!
Among the performers on Market Days' four music stages (which includes one dedicated to jazz) will be R&B icons En Vogue, Jody Watley, Kristine W, Cece Peniston and Kathy Sledge at the new "VIP Stage" near Addison. Among the more than 40 acts set to appear on stages at Belmont and Roscoe are disco legends The Village People, Eric Himan, Linda Clifford, Dot Dot Dot, Levi Kreis and 16 Candles.
Another big draw of Market Days are the 400 food and unique arts & craft vendors. From the tried and true to the zany and unique, the artisans (as well as food offerings) at the fest promise something for every taste!

Logo and Comcast are partnering at Chicago's Northalsted Market Days, August 1st 2009. Enter the Lip Sync For Your Life Contest at the Comcast Booth (#11 & 13) from 10AM - 1PM. Five people will be selected to compete on the Belmont Stage from 4:45 - 5:15PM, performing to RuPaul's hit song, "Cover Girl." The winner of this contest will receive an exclusive Logo prize pack filled with great gifts! Also, come meet Bebe & Jade from RuPaul's Drag Race at the Comcast Booth from 6 - 8PM!
