Registration is now open for AIDS Run & Walk Chicago, the popular annual fundraising event in the fight against HIV/AIDS. It benefits both the AIDS Foundation of Chicago and the programs of more than 125 local HIV/AIDS service organizations. Teams are strongly encouraged. Participants can register for either a 10K run, 5K run or 5K walk and also raise additional money through pledges.

AIDS Run & Walk Chicago is held along downtown's scenic lakefront just southeast of Soldier Field. Participants will be treated to plenty of pre-event, course route and post-event entertainment that includes local and regional music and performance acts. The run & walk also features a Health & Fitness Village hosted and sponsored by the Illinois Department of Public Health.
