Columbia College, with more than 120 academic programs and nearly 11,000 students, is the largest and most diverse private arts and media college in the nation. In the heart of one of America's greatest cities, Chicago is our laboratory. Columbia lives in 16 buildings that sit in the heart of Chicago's South Loop, home to the Chicago Symphony, the Art Institute, and the Museum Campus. Chicago inspires and instructs: Students gain real-world experience through internships and part-time jobs in the city.

The Greater South Loop Association (GSLA) is committed to the revitalization of Chicago's near south side as a vibrant and dynamic residential community. As an organization comprised primarily of residents of the near south, they seek to encourage planned development within their boundaries and strive to advance the mutually beneficial needs of their members. Their objectives include the promotion of friendship, unity and cooperation through social, cultural and charitable activities. As an alliance, they support and advocate local business endeavors that also promote the cultural, spiritual and physical needs of this growing residential community.
