The 19th Annual Rotary Run Charity Classic Rooney 5K will be held this October. All runs and walks start and end at The Community House. All fundraising proceeds benefit The Community House, District 181 Foundation, Hinsdale Humane Society and Rotary Charities. We are also delighted to announce, Adventist Hinsdale Hospital is pleased to partner with the Rotary Run Charity Classic Rooney 5K. For the past 25 years, the Adventist Hinsdale Hospital Rooney Heart Center 5k has been a landmark running event in the community. The combination of these two Hinsdale events allows both organizations to further strengthen ties to the community.

We encourage all participants to wear their official Rotary Run Charity Classic T-shirt! All participants receive a performance moisture management running shirt.

There will be FREE event parking at Madison School on 7th Street and parking available at the Hinsdale Central High School. Parking will also be available with shuttle service at Hinsdale Hospital, located at 120 North Oak Street in Hinsdale.

The Community House, a nonprofit organization (501(c)3) that delivers both quality recreation programs and affordable social services that are deeply rooted in the community. It makes a difference in the lives of thousands of families and individuals that need local opportunities for athletics, arts and culture, counseling, learning, building friendships, and community connections.
District 181 Foundation supports educational initiatives that benefit kindergarten through 8th grade students in the public schools of Clarendon Hills and Hinsdale, as well as parts of Burr Ridge, Oak Brook and Willowbrook. The Foundation provides opportunities for students and teachers to try new innovative tools, techniques and programs that are not or cannot be funded by tax revenues. When we invest in our schools, we not only invest in our community, but we invest in our future.
Hinsdale Humane Society is a 54-year-old non-profit organization dedicated to the care and adoption of unwanted and abandoned animals and the offering of humane education programs to prevent suffering and neglect.
