One of the oldest Chicagoland craft beer festivals is getting a new home this year! The 8th annual Chicago Craft Beer Festival is moving to the west Lakeview neighborhood! In 2019, it’ll be located on Lincoln from Addison to Roscoe.

That’s not all that’s changing. This fest is changing the way tasting events are typically run — doting the motto “the ultimate craft beer experience.” What’s different you ask? At this year’s tasting, you can come when you want (anytime between 1pm and 8pm), sample what you want (choose from over 50 different brews as well as a few wines and spirits!) and, afterward, enjoy the option to purchase a full-size brew of one of your favorite samples. OR, sample even more and purchase additional single tickets. It’s changing the way you sample and we’re excited.

Plus, don’t miss the live music throughout the day, the option to upgrade to a VIP tasting as well as food options and even a few things for the kiddos.

Good news all you bourbon and barbecue lovers — the Chicago Bourbon & Barbecue Fest is moving back to Roscoe Street in the heard of Roscoe Village. While Belmont Avenue is a great street for Roscoe Village Burger Fest in July, we felt taking this fest back to it’s roots on Roscoe Street is a better fit. The biggest reason? The bourbon tasting! It’ll allow us to have a designated area (a parking lot) to spread out the area and make it enjoyable to participate and look at. Plus, add in some great barbecue vendors, stellar talent and all the local business on Roscoe Street, you’ve got a home run! For more info, be sure to check out the events website frequently!
