It’s all about Puerto Rican culture and heritage at this popular summer parade that’s back for its 40th year on Division Street. Attracting all ages, it’s a colorful spectacle with nearly 100 floats ranging from community organizations and car clubs to local businesses, schools and corporate friends.
It also includes the pageantry of Chicago’s Miss Puerto Rico as well as her court of Juvenile Queens. The parade kicks off from Division and Western and heads west to scenic Humboldt Park where there’s a post-parade community celebration.
