Chicago’s sweet summer vibe will be in full swing when Taste of Lincoln Avenue, one of the Windy City’s most iconic (and pioneering) street fests, returns for its 34th fun-filled year to the heart of the Lincoln Park/DePaul neighborhood.
Stretching over several city blocks and side streets on the eponymous strip of Lincoln Avenue between Fullerton and Wrightwood, highlights include nearly 20 music acts on two stages, a stand-alone “Kids’ Carnival” area, plus plenty of food, libations and arts & crafts.
In total, the fest features more than 60 merchants, artists, community group and food/drink booths. The always-popular Kids’ Carnival, held from Noon-6:00 p.m. each afternoon on Altgeld between Lincoln and Halsted (free entrance from Halsted), features inflatables, art activities galore, pony rides, kiddie carnival rides and much more.
Join us for the kids carnival at Taste of Lincoln Avenue! The activities take place on Altgeld Street, between Lincoln and Halsted (enter on Halsted Street). Join all the fun, including giant slide, arts & crafts, balloons, pony rides, face painting, game, puppets and a great entertainment stage for kids of all ages!
Join us for sips and sights at this year's Taste of Lincoln Avenue wine tasting. Being held 2pm to 6pm each day, registrants will receive a souvenir tasting glass, 15 samples and a designated area with seating. Samples from over 40 wines.
